ACC Network

I am respectfully requesting that Cox Communications add the ACC Network to their line-up in our area due to the interest in this channel.  Do the right thing and let your customers know in our area one way or another if you will or will not be adding the ACC Network to your line-up so that we can entertain other options if necessary.  Thank you

I fully support Todd’s request that you add the ACCN network. While I have ESPN, it is my understanding that they will not include ACCN unless my carrier (Cox) provides it.  I also have basic Hulu, but they require a subscription to Hulu Live at $49.95/month to access ACCN.

Please pass along that if Cox does not offer the ACC network in the next month then I'm going with Verizon.  Have been a Cox customer for over 30 yrs.  This I is not an idle threat.  Cannot with ACC football or basketball.  A big Duke basketball.

If you are not going to carry the ACC Network let us know so we can change providers . I am paying for the SEC Network that I seldom watch instead of getting the ACC that would carry our area teams that are of more interest ., if you are not going to carry it or are going to charge more let us know so we can make a change before the first game .

We would like the Acc network here in Nebraska. While we are UVA fans here in Nebraska, there are tons of Notre Dame fans here. Get it together Cox!

I also would like to request the acc network. If the channel is not added before the Hokies first game on August 31 I will have to switch to someone who offers the channel. I will not miss games

I am a UVA fan in Virginia Beach and I will also dump Cox for Verizon (they carry the ACC Network) if it is not added prior to the 8/31 UVA vs. Pitt football game.

It is just absurd that Cox broadcasts the SEC, Big Ten and Pac 10 Networks and not the ACC. The last time I checked there were no SEC, Big Ten or Pac Ten universities in Virginia but two ACC schools with a multitude of avid supporters.

Here's the overall data for Power 5 Conference representation within the Cox footprint: Cox is in 18 states: AZ, AK, CA, CT, FL, GA, ID, IA, KS, LA, MA, NE, NV, NC, OH, OK, RI, and VA. Within these 18 states the P5 breakdown is as follows. ACC (10 teams), P10 (6), B12 (5), SEC (4), B10 (3). Out of the 18 state footprint, ACC (5 of 18), SEC (4 of 18), B10 (3 of18), B12 (3 of 18), P12 (2 of 18). In conclusion, within the Cox network, the ACC has the greatest number of teams at 10, and is represented in the greatest number of states at 5. The data says that the ESPN ACC Network should be primary, and that "opting" should be offered for the other four P5 conferences. Mic drop!

Chase Johnson, provided me with great service. He reduced the cost of my internet and helped me move my service after having complications with my apartment complex. Chase, continue your great service and aspire to reach all your goals. You are a champion.

I would also like to add my voice to the drum beat requesting Cox add the ACC Network to their cable lineup as you have already added the Big Ten an SEC network.

You are in the heart of the ACC! Please add the ACC Network to your channel lineup. Don't give your customers even more of a reason to abandon cable TV.

I agree with Todd C.  It is unacceptable, to the point of me switching my provider to Verizon, that the ACCN has been up and running since last week and Cox does not carry it.  In a little over a week, UVa plays at Pitt, and no Cox customers can watch it.  I, too, have been looking at other options.  Thank you, and I hope you get moving quickly in your negotiations.  Your speed up until now obviously has not been fast enough.

This is a deal-breaker COX.  I will chuck our entire cable package and go somewhere else to get the ACC.  People will speak with their wallets.

We are Cox Customers. We here in the Roanoke Valley are right in the middle of ACC Country. We must have the ACC TV Network added to your service. I would have never left Directv if I would have known that Cox does not recognize the obvious interest of the majority of their customers

Clemson plays Georgia Tech tomorrow, and right now Cox won't be showing the game.  We are huge Clemson fans and fans of all ACC schools.  We are already exploring other options, and we will be cancelling our Cox services as soon as we have everything in place.  Here in the heart of ACC country, there is no reason that Cox is not carrying this channel!

Amen to that...Cox is nothing but money grubbers! Over $200 a month to watch TV and you have to deal with this BS.

I will also be gone plus a lot of other fans who don't use this forum.

Cox playing chicken with ESPN/Disney is just infuriating customers and they will leave and badmouth Cox. Not the best way to do business!

If the ACC network isn't added in the next week or two it may be time to switch to Verizon Fios.  I'm so disappointed we can't watch the opening weekend games.  This is the first year we haven't been able to watch our beloved ACC teams compete.  UCLA and Cincinnati is on but we can't watch Clemson and Georgia Tech?  Are you kidding?  Get the ACC network or lose this customer!

Hi there, Cox is actively negotiating with ESPN for carriage of the ACC Network on our channel lineup. We are always fighting hard to keep your costs at a reasonable price. We know many of our customers are anxious for a decision - we hope to have more information regarding this soon. -Carol
