Which store bought modems are comparable with cox internet preferred ?

I have a net gear modem but sometimes my streaming speeds are slow.  And Cox cannot send an automated reboot to it.

What's the make and model of your router?  How many devices are also connected while streaming?  Are you steaming wired or wireless?  Do you live in a multi-family building?

whichever modem'/router you choose, plan on doing your own troubleshooting when it goes down!!

it works, with no exchange of pano unit in the year & a 1/2 i've had it.

you're both have superb skills when it come to troubleshooting issues but some of your explanations can/could be difficult to follow for the novice, you've encouraged to provide their own equipment.
