Web Page/ Web Space with FTP

I'm tired of "Social Media"! Why can't Cox, or other ISPs offer 10 GB Web Page Space like others did early on? Earthlink, AOL offered 6 MB, granted but 5, 10 GB wouldn't be an issue! I look at my usage and I don't even come close to 1 TB, with Facebook, Twitter bullying people, it's time to start our own web content!!
