Sub email account hacked. NO security provided by Cox.

One of my sub email accounts was hacked. Someone from Croatia broke in and was able to cause some havoc. It was probably a simple brute force attack (it was a weak password).

Why didn't the email account lock?

Why was I not notified off too many login attempts?
