I tried to obtain this service and was told I did not live in the correct neighborhood to recieve this discounted rate. They could not tell me what areas might qualify. It does not mention this on the webpage. So I am guessing this is a bait and switch scam. Cox customer service was very little help after holding and being transferred for over 20 minutes. I wish I had a better internet option than cox.

Customers can receive information about StraightUp Internet as well as check service availability. After the “StraightUp Internet FAQs” section, it is documented that StraightUp Internet is only available to qualified customers. Qualification for this service is not based on an area.
