Slow Download Speeds

I have Essential Internet 30 Mbps Service but have been experiencing  11 Mbps or less. I have a combo modem/router and use wireless for cell phone, computer and a streaming service for TV, although not simultaneously.  Why are the  download speeds significantly different ??

Hi BOBinNV, your speed test results can be impacted by the speed capabilities of the device you are using and whether you are testing via WiFi or a hardwired connection. Connect a device directly to your modem/router with an ethernet cord, reset your modem/router, and then log into cox.com and follow the steps at bit.ly/HowToRunCoxSpdTest.
