Quinton, VA Service Extension

I live on a road right off of New Kent highway. I know there is a line running along this road, but I was wondering if there were plans to add additional extensions along the tributary roads or how this can be requested/put on the agenda for future expansion. We have no high speed options available at the moment, very weak Verizon DSL and celluar right now.

Extensions are expensive. Not sure you will get a answer here as AFAIK no Cox engineers frequent this forum. I would suggest you could contact Cox at cox.help@cox.com and ask for their Sales/Serviceability department and ask them. Good luck.

PS. Is Starlink not a option?

I have starlink, actually. It is pretty decent but they just hiked prices and its pretty heavily wooded so there are somewhat frequent disruptions. Might get better if I ever get preferred service but right now its all best effort.

If you game, their CGNAT can be a issue. I understand why you would want a land based ISP. Let us know how the email goes.
