NETGEAR - Orbi AC3000 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System

Is this an approved router (NETGEAR Orbi RBR50 High-Performance AC3000 Tri-Band Home WiFi System) for the COX network in Kansas?  I am on my second set purchased from Best Buy, and it still seems to be losing internet connection.  The modem (ARRIS SURFboard 600 Series SB6183) I bought with the Orbi system at Best Buy is COX approved, so I know the modem is okay.

Hi Oxyproxydana, as long as your modem is on the list of Cox-approved devices, you can set up your home network with any router. For the best in-home WiFi experience, Cox recommends a dual-band 802.11-AC device. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Thank you.  I wondered if maybe the problem was that the router was too advanced for Cox.  I will try switching to the dual-band Google WiFi instead.
