Hi Forum,

This is my first post so I hope someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I have a Netgear CM1000 modem and the famed Gigablast service. The service has been slow. I had a tech come out this last week and he measured 700Mbs download speed directly from the cable. When I hook my laptop up directly I only get 90mps. The tech did not have any suggestions to  improve suggested I have a defective modem or laptop. Does anyone have any experrience here. I ssaw several posts where speeds were slow but not this slow. Any help is appreciated.
