Motorola MB8600 Issues

I have called Cox a couple times, I have a tech scheduled to come out in 2 days.  We have had a lot of service outages over the last 2 weeks.

I have been having issues from around 3-5pm every day for over a month, just disconnects for 3-5 minutes them comes back up.  Will do that multiple times a day.

Doesn't seem to be equipment related, but wanted to see what is the latest firmware for the Motorola MB8600?  This is what my modem is saying and some error logs below.

Can you post your signal levels? Specially the upstream.

2 OFDM and 1 OFDMA so at least you are in a upgraded area. I also see your signal levels are on the high side which Motorola(Zoom) modems don't do well on. Do you happen to be going through a amp? Last, I see uncorrectables in the 117-129Mhz range which may be overlapping with OFDM.

Can you describe how the coaxial gets from the street to room the modem is in?

I should not be going through an AMP, at least to my knowledge.

I don't have cable TV, phone or anything else from Cox, so there should not be splitters.  It should be a straight through cable from the box to my modem, maybe one barrel connector in the faceplate.  From the street is underground to a box right by my fuse panel and other utilities.

Nothing has changed with cabling for years, but seems to happen more in the afternoon.  Like it has done it at least 3 times today already, and it is just 2pm here

The only thing big thing I can think of that has changed in some area is the additional of the upstream OFDMA channel. Did you notice if you got it when you started having these problems? I have a feeling the problem has something to do with the underground(UG) wiring or pedestal. Always seems to be UG wiring when I see T4 errors but I don't know why. The technician should be able to test from the pedestal and see if there is errors/packet loss. If so they will put in a ticket. Be sure to get the ticket number for follow up.

OK, thanks much.  I will let the tech know and post back what he finds.  Just FYI, I started seeing some other warnings and notices, they seem to come up when my connection drops.

Looks like there is another outage, seems to happen a lot lately.  I did not get an alert on this one though.
