Thank you for that information Christine. This is a public forum and some information provided is personal. I'd recommend deleting the post. With that being said. I was able to locate your account, and I see you’re currently in an outage as you mentioned. I understand outages are no fun and that there is nothing that can be done on your end to resolve them. Cox values your business, and we want you to have a good and stable connection. Our teams are working to resolve the issue and are committed to keeping you connected. I see there is no estimated time for the outage at this point. You can check for updates by accessing and/or downloading the Cox app www.cox.com/residential/learn/cox-app.html to get updates on outages in your area. Our teams will provide an ETR as soon as possible. Is there anything else we can assist with at this time?

Were customers aware of this “planned maintenance “?  Will customers be reimbursed for this “planned maintenance “??  No and no!! Sigh eye roll cussing!!! 

If there are planned daytime outages, notices will be posted ahead of time. Regarding planned nighttime outages, these notifications are posted on cox.com and the Cox app. Notifications do not go out ahead of time as these outages do not affect all homes. These types of outages might not have you offline the entire time, but it could be intermittent. Cox will credit for outages if valid, as we do not believe customers should have to pay for services they're not receiving.
