Internet and Phone Interruptions at Night
For at least the last two weeks my internet and phone service has been interrupted anywhere from a few minutes to several hours at night and early morning. When I call Cox there is always a recording saying, "There is a problem in your area and our technicians are working to solve the problem." I have to check the lights on my modem to know when my internet is back up. This would not be such a big deal, except that we do not have good cell service in this area and when Cox is down my cell phone service is also down. I live in Luling, Louisiana.

Check and see if they are doing upgrades in your area? They tend to do those at night to disturb people the least.

I also live in Luling and am suffering the same problems. I’m being told there’s too much internet traffic and their network can’t handle it. If this doesn’t get fix anytime soon, I might have to switch to another ISP which somewhat pains me because I’ve been a customer for over 20 years.
Edit: Checking other community sites like reddit, it seems that it’s affecting other cities like New Orleans too. Cox, fix your god *** network…
