Gateway login fault

I'm trying to login to my gateway, all info points to the standard admin/password combo to get in but it keeps telling me wrong password, i've reset twice now and it''s still telling me wrong password

yes, they say admin/password. tried that about 10 times now

cox issued arris panoramic wifi modem/router. I just resolved it, hit the physical reset button on the back.

Yup.  Press and hold for 4 seconds to reboot and 10 seconds to reset to factory defaults.  Something like that.
