Email transfer help please

Since Cox dumped all it's email customers onto Yahoo I have had nothing but problems with unwanted porno adds and email not being delivered. What email service has everyone gone to which is secure, and does not contain adds? I have my gmail on outlook but you cannot transfer the cox email because it is now on Yahoo but not a Yahoo address to add to outlook.
