Does Cox plan to terminate e-mail service?

Since Cox is no longer providing new e-mail addresses to either new or existing customers, does this mean at some point in time that Cox will eliminate all e-mail service?

That would be my guess! Cox seems to work very hard at doing as little as possible while maximizing revenues. Little by little, I am transitioning by Cox email accounts to Gmail so I will not be caught short.

i doubt it. most isp's have some type of email.

Hi Dvhr, we have no plans to discontinue the Cox email platform at this time. In addition, we still offer support for Cox email accounts.-Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

Yet you dont offer it to new subscribers. Or at least access to it. I seem to have one in my name yet I have no access to it. Ive seen the complaints about your email service but it really is not right to continue it for old subscribers and no new ones.

change the password to posted requirements & you might get it working.
