Ever since yahoo took over mail server, my cox.net emails are going into trash or worse, completely disappearing in the program outlook. These emails are from long time addresses such as banks, friends

Hello. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your email. We have limited access since we do not deal with any email since Yahoo took it over however if your emails are going to the trash or deleting I would fist make sure that none of your devices that you check email on are set to POP. If they are then they are being pulled off the server and placing them on that device only. I would also check to make sure no rules that you have made are not the cause of the issue. If you have checked both of these things then I would contact Yahoo at this time for assistance.

Look, I get it, my email from Cox is now with yahoo also, BUT, you're kvetching to the wrong people. Verify your email settings. If you are using POP, make sure you in your advanced settings have selected, "Leave a copy of messages on server". If that's not it, you will have to contact yahoo.
