Does anyone get the following error when attempt to access phone tools under my account, phone tools ?

You need a new app to access this null .

I am getting above  error from IE or chrome. Need to access the tools to view the calling records. Are there other venues to see the record while waiting for this to be fixed. Thanks.

Hi Tai,

What device and operating system are you using to access phone tools? Are you using a downloaded app, or using a browser each time you receive the error?

Thanks,

I didn't realize the problem existed since 12/31 - I was trying to access my phone history which I normally do by signing in - I never had to use an app I was automatically brought to my phone history when I went to Phone Tools. I do hope they fix the problem soon b/c I am not downloading anything, why try to change something when it works perfectly fine. This is ridiculous, I don't have call waiting so I rely on the call history in case someone tried to call me and it was busy.  Because I'm living on my Disability check, I can't afford call waiting and I have an elderly father who is ill so really need access to the phone tools- call history. Please fix this problem as I will not be downloading apps or whatever. I don't even have a cell phone anymore - so yeah I do rely on my landline which is all I have

From a customer who has been w/Cox for over 20 plus years. Please fix it the way it was before.

Zimmbo and oklajohn,

Please let me know what error message you see, and if the messages are different depending on the device you are trying to use.

Thanks!

Hi lddd,

We'd like to look into this for you. Can you verify what error message you're getting when you sign into Phone Tools?

Now it won't even connect with phone tools - can't find that website.....been screwed up for 3 days now for me.I've tried IE, Firefox and Google Chome, cleared cache, turned off blockers, everything I can think of - it just doesn't work.  Worthless!

Hi John, are you able to access the Cox website at all? Login to Web Mail or View Pay Bill? i just tried the link you showed with the null part:  www.cox.com/resaccount/tools.cox  and it takes me to the login page for residential accounts. I used my primary Cox user ID and was able to access phone history.

Yes I can get into webmail and my account - only phone tools seem to be unavailable.  This has been going on for about a week
