why so long to fix connection from street to house????

I have been asking for month's, for an email to submit a complaint to. I was told there is no email, no person to complain to. I was told to use the forums as a way to place my complaint online. I felt this was not a good practice as it would let other cox communications subscribers what my complaint was and would entice others to also complain. I had finally had a representative promise me I would get a phone call to allow me to explain my situation and possibly have somebody listen and maybe rectify the problem. Unfortunately this has not happened. I am left with submitting my complaint to the better business bureau as well as the local TV channels. From there I guess I will have to allow my complaint to go wild on cox forums and any other forum or social media that I am able to express the unsatisfactory resolution. I have been at current address since 10/2012 and every time I call to complain about slow internet, (although I pay extra to have faster connection) or to have a technician tell me why a cable station is not coming in, I get a bunch of excuses. It's always my equipment, computers must be too old , yet they worked fine at previous address, or the station just doesn't want to view in my area. I hardly think the local news doesn't want to be seen in their own city. Even with new TV'S or computers, still bad connections. Then in September when my monthly bill jumped by $80 a month I called again. A phone call resulted in an explanation that I was apparently on some plan that was no longer available. The only way to bring my cost down without losing services I would have to change my boxes. When asked why an old obsolete box would cost so much more the response was.....that's just the way it is. I agree to the new boxes and technicians arrive to install, however the new boxes are a lot more touchy when it comes to inadequate cable power. They test everything in the house, all is good, they go outside and find that such a small amount of internet and cable is making it to the house it's a wonder I don't have service like the old dial very slow service. The technicians tell me I cannot have new boxes until a cable is replaced from the main box across the street to the house. Which the blame on why that will take months to complete is put on the city, however the city marked the street, sidewalk and lawn about a week after. I have been waiting for cox to call me (as I was told they would) and tell they are done and can bring me new boxes. When I call about the ridiculously high bill I am repeatedly told I must wait for new boxes to be put in. When I explain what I have been going thru to get these dumb boxes they just tell me I need to wait and when they get out in to call and have bill adjusted, going back to September when bill jumped up. I want to also know what is going to happen to the extra $50 per month that has been paid for high speed internet which I was not getting. Or the extra fees for a package of channels that ay or may not come in. I have only had cox communication since moving to Arizona in 1999, have been a very loyal customer but cannot believe how easy it is for representatives to just pass the buck, or ignore the complaint altogether. I have not had any issues with cox until I moved into this location. I am hoping it will be fixed as I was promised once the boxes are installed. If it does not I will place complaint anywhere and everywhere, and I will go elsewhere for services.
