I have been experiencing internet problems since I got the internet hooked up over a year ago. I have called in twice now and with a service tech that came out last time found out that they have to split the node in my area in order for us to get the internet speed we have been paying for. That's right, they sold something they could not provide. So I called them to tell them that naturally I wanted some kind of compensation for paying for 100mbps and getting closer to 25mbps(sometimes less). They told me that I have not called enough to get any kind of compensation beyond $7.99. So I am supposed to call everyday? At least once a month they said. So not only do I need to pay my bill and pay for something I am not getting but now I have to call and wait 30 minutes on the phone at LEAST once a month before they can do anything. Am I the only one that is outraged by the lack of customer sevice?? If I had anyone else in the area to switch to I would!

This is a technical forum. Did you want to discuss the problem? I don't consider it prudent to go onto a forum for one ISP and ask what other ISP are better. I suspect this thread will be locked. If not, please post some of the the technical details of the issue: speed test results, what modem/router, tracert (if relevant), signal level of modem, etc.
