I have a similar problem to others posted, but when I go to ask the original poster if and how they fixed it, it says the post is locked by the moderators. What is the point of locking posts that have no solution? Why not leave them open so people can communicate and solve problems that COX support are ignoring? Surely the moderators understand locking a post doesn't make the problem go away....

One example...my problem is like this one...no posts by cox support...but they locked the question. Weird. The phone technical support is notoriously bad, so I was hoping to get some help here from other users. I went ahead and filed a FCC Complaint. Returning the equipment after work that I have had for about 1 week. The only thing COX has figured out so far is how to bill me.

The purpose of our forums is to allow customers to trouble shoot and help each other with issues. We will lock a post if it is a billing or account specific issue and once a thread goes 30 days without a post or follow-up. I see you recently posted about your cable card issues. I will post my reply about your service issues there and lock this post as it isn't technical.
