I've got traces on all of my systems (Mac OS) and have disabled the "Back to my Mac" option everywhere, so there shouldn't be much traffic at all. Yet, we're 6-days into this billing cycle and I've used 38% of my allocated 400GB per month! Last Saturday was almost 39GB of data flowing to/from my house. Does Cox have any tools to actually see what's going on, either open ports or IP addresses?
This is CRAZY!!!

If your looking to see what traffic is occurring realtime, try Wireshark, though it can be tricky depending on your OSX version. See here. If your looking for bandwidth monitoring, check out SurplusMeter, but check out the Apple store, since there are alot of options.

That is a lot of data for one day. Maybe the OP should insure that his wireless router is protected properly. Maybe many neighbors are using his service.
