We just upgraded from preferred internet to the premier about a week ago and we haven't seen any changes in speed at all. Last speed check i did the download speed was 13.54 mbps and upload was 7.90 mbps. This was both tested on wi-fi and directly connected to the modem, both had similar results.
My modem is a Cisco DPQ3212C and router is an ASUS RT-AC66R, which can handle 300 mbps on 2.4 ghz and 1300 mbps on 5 ghz.
I have called tech support multiple times and everything seems fine on their end and they just tell me to wait a couple days but nothing has changed.
What can I do to fix this? It is very frustrating

Try bypassing your router and connecting direct to the modem, remember to reset your modem.
Routers translate traffic in BOTH directions, (NAT). Additionally, if your wireless, it also affects your ability to properly determine speed. The ONLY correct method of performing a speedtest is to connect direct to the modem, ensure router powered off in case your computer is normally wireless, reoot the modem by pressing the reset on the back and holding for 10 seconds, (That's would be for YOUR modem, others are different), and then reboot your computer.
