I wanted to change my services with Cox which would include changing my tv receiver. So, I built my package online that I wanted and priced it out. I was satisfied with the price of my package except for the fact that it was forcing me to pay shipping for my new receiver. I chatted with someone in sales on the website and he said I should just visit a solutions store and pick up the new receiver and turn in my old one all at the same time. So I tried to do this, but the solution store couldn't bring up the package that I wanted and told me the website and the actual store have different systems and prices and that I would have to do it all online and pay the shipping. I actually completed my order in the store ON MY PHONE in front of the employees, and they still couldn't give me a receiver. They told me I would have to pay the shipping regardless. Why is this possible? I work next door to the solution store, but I'm forced to pay shipping to change my services.

Alright, scratch all of that. I got told that I don't qualify for that package even though I logged in and clicked upgrade services and placed the order. I got an email saying my order couldn't be completed. I now don't qualify for that package. Well, seeing how for some reason I can't get anything done with cox, I guess it's time to cancel and switch.

Please email our Social Media Group at Cox.Help@cox.com and we can look into your account options. Please include your full address, name, and last 4 digits of the primary account holder's ssn. Some of the online offers are for new customers only, however, existing customers have opportunities for discounts when trying new services. We can take a look if it isn't too late.

I just got off the phone with retention, and they said it has to be something wrong with the website offering current customers with a new customer deal and that he couldn't do it for me. So, guess that means I will be switching, as that's usually the last department that can help!
