How can I downgrade and get back to Classic webmail. I was forced converted on some of my accounts to the "new and improved" appsuite version and I really hate the new format. It runs slowly on my slow laptop and hangs up on my new computer at times. Initial connection to webmail is often slow, much slower than classic.
The Classic was perfect for me and I would like to use it again. I don's see anyone else complaining, and I don't see any help devoted to the new email. I wonder how many people are actually forced into using the newer version like me....
Help!!!!

Well, that is a shame. I use HTML 5 complaint browsers and have no issues with other HTML 5 sites, just Cox. I even develop HTML 5 sites and I use many other web based email sites and they all work fine as well, Yahoo, Hotmail, and Gmail. Cox is the exception. Not sure why "they" have programmed something so buggy for something so simple but it would sure be nice to have a working product with no glitches.
The biggest issue is initial connection. I have to refresh my up to date Firefox about 8 times to finally get it to connect, once connected it works satisfactory but does have issues when sending a message. Sometimes the message locks up and just sits there, sometimes it thinks it sends it but it gets stuck in the middle of the process. When I log in again the message still shows it is still hanging up. The work around is to save the message and immediately send it. That is a 100% work around. I really think it is a server side issue but who knows.
Honestly, I cannot figure out why reading simple text messages would be so hard to do.Chrome does work a little better than my daily Firefox use but even it has issues with interfacing with the Cox webmail interface. Yes, I know I can use a third party software like Thuderbird to connect, it's just that webmail was a convenient one stop anywhere product and it should work properly.
Oh well, thanks for the info, still think they should have 2 products, a simple one and a complex one for those that need it. HTML 5 or not, things can be made more simply if needed.
