Web promotions

         I recently signed up for cox internet (as of the very end of may) and the promotion for Preferred was (if I recall correctly) 29.99 for the first six months and then the 52.99 for the rest of the year. It was also stated that if a new account was created (as this is my first time ever using cox in general) and that account was created online then it would be reduced to 23/mo for the first 6 months. My first bill is 29.99 and I recently spoke to 2 representatives over the phone who claim to have never even heard of this promotion (and the website has a different promotion going on now). I want to verify that I am not crazy and that I will be provided these benefits. I would rather not have a sour first time experience with cox.
