Watch espn wont show live events...why not?
I have signed into my cox account and got it set up....but it won't let me watch live events...only replays...am I missing something?

Without going into account specifics, I will advise you that this may be normal behavior.
Most content on the WatchESPN site requires a subscription to the corresponding ESPN television channel to view. ESPN3 is the only thing you will be able to watch live without at least a subscription to Cox TV Essential, and you don't even sign in to watch ESPN3 content.
ESPN3 live content is viewable only from the home Cox High-Speed Internet connection and is automatically authenticated by the IP address. You will recognize ESPN3 programming that you can view by auto-authentication by the ESPN3 logo and the lack of a 'key' icon:
If you do have a subscription to Cox TV Essential or higher, and the programming to which you are subscribed is not working, then we can troubleshoot further.
