Virus Scan

Do I have Anti-Virus Support for my Cox email? I just followed a link from someone I know well - but it wasn't from them? I've run McAfee and it shows "no threat" to my computer. Do I need to do more?

The Mcafee suite will scan emails and files downloaded to the computer by default, if you are checking email on Webmail through our site the messages are scanned on our end for threats.

Many thanks - I've added anti-virus SW, so it seems as tho i'm double-covered.
