For the last six months, the loading of email has been very slow. Many times it gets stuck loading the inbox and I have to stop and refresh to try to load the page again. It is the worst when loading the inbox, not as bad when opening actual emails, but still slow. I have tried signing in on multiple computers at multiple locations all with the same result. I spoke with other people who have Cox email and they say they are having the same issue. I have been patiently waiting thinking that there will be a fix but it is very frustrating.

I haven't been having the issue.Do you have alot of mail in your inbox? Or maybe alot (more then 20) folders?
Also, are you using Classic Webmail, or enhanced? Maybe try the other and see if it works any better?

I use classic webmail. I tried enhanced and it would only load one or two lines of the inbox and hang up. I have very few folders and download my email to my hard drive regularly so there are never more than 50 emails. Just now, it took 20 seconds to load the inbox and then when I clicked on the email to reply back it hung up and I had to cancel and start over.

I have done all of that as well. I use Chrome. Just for the heck of it this morning before I posted the thread I tried Explorer and Mozilla with similar results. I thought for sure it was a server issue on your end, but now I don't know. It doesn't feel like it ever recovered after the big email issue a while back - never got back to normal.

Out of curiosity, and caution, try changing your password? If it did start happening around the "big email issue" then thats related to a bunch of account's that had their access blocked because they were found to have the password compromised by a outside source. If it is related to that, then maybe something is accessing your account alot and slowing your access to it?
Another test might be to create another username and see if you can access that inbox any better. If so, then it's something relevant to the username.
