VDSL or ADSL?

I'm looking to buy a new modem/router for my Cox service starting soon, and I was wondering if my connection would be VDSL or ADSL?  I assume the latter, but I wanted to be sure before making any purchases.  My location is Manhattan, KS.

The correct answer would be C, none of the above. It is a HFC (Hybrid/Fiber Coaxial) Connection. It has the most in common with VDSL but both are separate technologies. A router for one will work with any type of connection, but they are different modems altogether. You can view the list of supported modems and combination devices on our support site here. ---
