Two days ago I had upgraded my modem to SB6141 and now I am regretting it. I have a Dlink Dir-655 router and ever since I upgraded my modem, I am losing internet every few hours.
It takes several minutes to get the connection back on. here is the latest connection drop messages. Dropped around 6:50 PM and got back online around 7:11, more than 20 minutes.
Not sure what is happening, but the phone tech said, modem has issues. Replaced the modem with my old one and still seeing dropped connection. Cox did send me the latest firmware upgrade and still losing connection.
Any help is appreciated.

I think it's possible you may be having noise problems with one of the modem's upstream channels. Scheduling a technician to come out would probably be a good next step.

Silly me... big mistake on my side.
When I put in the new modem, I did not change the power adapter thinking they are both from Motorola and should work.
I looked at the modem logs more closely and each time I see a message of Cable modem reboot and I lose the connection thereafter. Then it hit me about the adapters and I compared the power adapters and they are not the same.
Once I put the correct power adapter, everything started working and no more dropped connections.
