upgrade

I'm upgrading my connection to the $99. ultamate from the one level lower. Premium. I'm not changing anything really. I'm wondering why I need to pay the $60 for installation and if it's put toward my first bill. I'm not sure why I have to pay for something when they're not even doing anything?

Was Premium professionally installed at the location you are now? By a Cox technician? Do you have a DOCSIS 3.0 modem?If so, then I should think Cox can waive the install fee.
