Upgrade to DOCSIS 3.0 Modem?
I currently have the 'Cox Internet Preferred' plan. I do not have a DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. If I upgrade to this type of Cable Modem, will it increase my internet speeds under my current 'Preferred' plan?

Upgrading the modem would make it easier to achieve and maintain yoru provisioned speeds but it won't increase the speed offered for Preferred. Premier on the other hand would be the exception.
