For some reason I just started to receive this notification. Does anybody know what this is and what action I should take?

What program are you using when that pop up appears? The certificate is for pop.cox.net, so I assume some kind of email client?
Can you show the "Details" tab?

It appears that the root certificate for Entrust is not in the CA trust store of your mail client. This link mentions that 3 months ago Entrust had requested that they be added by the common mail vendors --

I have also been getting this issue since Friday in Mail on my Mac. This is what I'm seeing:
I've made no changes to Mail or OS X. This literally just appeared the first time I started mail in the morning.
Anyone?

Take a look at the February 16 question "Why is this suddenly happening?" which is very similar to your situation.

Is it possible this has something to do with the certificate being for pop.cox.net while your trying to connect to pop.west.cox.net? I notice both OP and thread mentioned above are using the old pop.west.cox.net.
