I'm in the process of trying to transfer my services to a new house. I'm able to set the new address, when to disconnect my current service, and build my new package. However, when I go to start the check out process, the page refreshes without redirecting. I pulled up the debugger console and saw the following error "Port error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.". The error occurs in the latest versions of Chrome, FF and IE. Is this a known issue?

If you are transferring multiple services from one address the Cox.com site can have problems processing it, which sounds like that maybe the issue if its stuck on confirming the changes. Is it erroring on the same page for each browser or at different points in that process?

Hey Edward,
The error occurs on the same page for each browser. After you've added the new services to your cart and click "Go to Checkout" it leads you back to step 1 of the checkout process (The Checkout Welcome Step) which asks you you what your new address is and if you're going to disconnect your existing services. The error occurs on this page when you click "continue", so I am unable to go to step 2 of the checkout process.

Trying to transfer and add new services might be too much for the website. Can you try completing the transfer first and then we can go back and add new services before the install is complete.
