I am unable to change my email passwords, on all accounts. I can log in to each account using webmail, then choose to change password, enter the correct present password and then the new password, but the response is always "Error: Password does not meet minimum requirements".
The passwords I have chosen were between 8 and 24 characters, upper and lower case letters with numbers and symbols. These were generated with a password generator. I have tried many combinations, also resetting the browsers ( Safari and Chrome ), but the password strength is always labeled as "weak".

Are you only having an issue submitting the passwords that come from the password generator? If you create one yourself, although it may show as weak, does it accept it? Are you copying and pasting the passwords or manually typing them in?

Hi NicholeC,
Thank you for your reply. The passwords coming from the password generator were not accepted by the Cox system, even as I used fewer numbers and symbols, even as few as 8 characters. Late last night I hit on what my problem was. I was including one or more of the following, period, coma, colon, semicolon, [ { } ], the Cox system will only allow the symbols above the numbers on the keyboard (!@#$%^&*() ). If any disallowed symbols are used Cox lists the password as "Weak".
