TV turns off
After a certain amount of time, I get a message that pops up on the screen asking me if I'm still watching and I have to press select if I am. If not it turns off. Is this something in the settings? Please advise.

There are two possibilities of this message you find. There is a Channel Inactivity Message that pops up after about 6 continuous hours of viewing a SDV channel, and the message displays that the channel will change and prompt the viewer to press OK to keep viewing the channel. If no action is taken, then the receiver will change to a non-SDV channel. There isn't a setting for this to be turned off.
If you have a Contour box, then there is a chance this message is due to the Receiver Power Manager set to Auto Power Off. This setting can be set to Power Off Manually in Settings> Receivers> Power Manager> Reciever Power > Power off Manually or Auto Power Off.
Based off of your message, it sounds as though the receiver is powering off, so this 2nd option may be the one that helps you. Please provide an update. Thanks!
