TiVo Bolt and TiVo Mini Setup
I recently ordered new service with Cox and ordered a TiVo Bolt and 2 TiVo Mini's. I have read about 2 different setups for connecting the TiVo's but was trying to make sure I have everything needed when they come to install. What is needed for a MoCa connection or should I run Ethernet cables.

Everything will depend on how your home is wired. Since all houses are different, I can't tell you step by step how to do it. If you use the coaxial cable, you will use the MoCa technology to access your recordings on the Mini's. The POE filter blocks the frequencies that the files transfer on and you want to stop the files from being accessed outside of your home. I believe our install states to put the POE filter at the tuning adapter and I suggest putting it at the point where the cable comes into the home, before it is split. There are splitters that have a POE filter inside and you can use this at the point of entry (POE). I suggest using this type of splitter only at the POE and not once inside the home.
