The TV box can't be turned on

After a power outage, the Cox TV box can't be turned on. All the other electrics in my home function well. Not sure why it happens.

Hi shirleyyun, try a manual power reset of the cable box by unplugging the power cord from the cable box, wait two minutes, check all connections to make sure they are all tight, then plug the power cord back in. Please allow sufficient time for the receiver to download the guide (approx. 20-30 minutes). Please let us know if this works.
