I'm in Omaha and every night around 7 or 8pm my internet slows down significantly. Tonight I was getting between 3Mbps down and 10 Mbps down. I pay for Premier Internet so I should be getting 100.
I've tried plugging directly into my modem, and restarting everything with no difference.
Modem info: Cisco DPC3010
Firmware: d3000-v302r125533-120716a-COX

Me too here in Tucson. Just got off the phone yet again and I am getting tired of trying to explain to an ISP that the symptom screams an infrastructure/route issue. But please keep asking me to reboot my modem and direct connect to the modem.
They look at our modems over the network, and can see our speed tests that we do on the cox site...but they cannot seem to comprehend common sense.
Idiots!
I feel your pain

The modem looks good but it's been online for a while and is showing what appears to be a device that is slower that the Internet connection attached. When was the last time you tried without the router? I'd suggest trying again ensuring that you test with a device that has a gigabit Ethernet port for best results.
