Slow Classic email

Why does it take so long (>1min) to open a very small (five word) email with a large (10,000 kb) attachment, even if the attachment does not open with the email?  Then after the five word email (Here's the file you wanted) finally opens, it takes another >2min for the file to open??

Does this only happen with classic mail? Not enhanced or using a client(ie outlook)?

And I don't understand your wording: "Then after the five word email (Here's the file you wanted) finally opens, it takes another >2min for the file to open??" How can it open...and then need to open again? Please explain?

Better wording..... Then after the five word email finally opens, it takes another two minutes to open the ATTACHED file.

With the Classic view for Webmail is it also slow to open folders or emails without attachments as well? Does it also respond slowly through the Enhanced view as well?
