Signal booster
Does Cox sell signal boosters for its modem? I am just on the other side of the house from the modem location, and my signal is pretty poor, which is very disappointing for what I'm paying for my Internet service.

When you say "signal" what do you mean? Wireless signal? Or the cable signal coming through the cable line into the modem?
If you mean Wireless, what router do you have and do you know how it's configured? Using a Wifi Exstender is not optimal, since it will cut your throughput in half.
