Does anyone have problems with the login and location constantly popping up on the forum page even after logging in repeatedly?

The most common cause for this type of issue is something blocking cookies.  I'd suggest resetting the browser to defaults and try disabling any sort of privacy control software you may have setup temporarily and seeing if you still have the problem.
