I am sincerely disappointed that with the new Guide, the function to search by the Theme, "Premier" is no longer available. It was a handy feature.
With new TV shows premiering throughout the year now, I often miss new shows because the only way you can search is by show title or actor names. I often see a promotional ad for a new show that will be premiering on a certain date on a certain channel, and don't remember the name when I go to schedule my DVR to start recording the series from the premier episode.
With the old Guide, you could search by the Theme, "Premier", and it would show you a list of shows that would be premiering that week. That made it simple to set the DVR right from that page and I did not miss any new shows that I was interested in seeing.
The way it is now, with original programming popping up on so many channels, it's a nightmare to try and find a show that seems promising.
If any other viewer/customer finds this a troublesome occurrence, perhaps if we all mention it, COX will add the code back into the Guide programming to make our lives a little simpler and easier to find new shows to enjoy!

I agree. Having no breakdown past category leaves you with a lot of programs to sort thru. On top of that you have to take another step just to see show description. I like Contour as a whole but guide functions need some work.
