Before today, I was running 8 channels down and 4 channels up with speeds 150mbps. This mirrored the ultimate plan I have.
Today, I have 16 down and 4 up with speeds of 20mbps and below. This is terrible! Can someone please fix?
Thanks,
Adrian

Seems to be better this morning. Should I be concerned with the high corrected numbers?

Nope. Problem still exists. Only at night does the speed take a terrific nose dive. 10Mbps compared to the 160Mbps earlier in the day. Every night to slows to a halt since I've noticed the change in the number of channels the modem is bonding.
I worried about the number of corrected. It was never this bad in the past.
I need a stable fast internet connection. Please fix.

Can you tell if my firmware was update recently? Again this problem only happens at night. Tonight I noticed it at 7:00pm. It slows to a crawl. In the morning, it will be fine. This happen shortly after getting 16 channel bonding with this modem. It was working fine prior with 8 channel bonding. Is there an issue with this new firmware? I see other reports of slowness on this forum with the same modem.
Do have to buy an other modem to fix this issue???

Hi there. I have a technician coming out tomorrow but there is no reason why my speed should go below 1mb/sec Upload after 9pm EVERY NIGHT. Which is what is happening. Then in the morning its back up to at least 12mb/sec upload and 105mb download. Please explain. If my modem and router are capable of 15ping 105 down and 12 up, why would it all of a sudden every night drop like a rock? I would say its a cox issue.

The firmware appears to be current on the modem. I think having a tech come out and take a look would be the next best step to take to resolve this.

Looking from this end the modem does appear to be reporting upstream signal issues. You could try bypassing any splitters you have on your cable lines to see if that helps. Having a tech come out would be a good idea.

Lets hope...
To bad I cannot schedule a time late enough for them to see the problem. Problem happens around 8pm and the techs are coming 5-7pm.
Another person having same problem at 8pm. http://forums.cox.com/forum_home/internet_forum/f/5/t/9394.aspx

It's 8:47pm and now I'm at 17Mbps.
While the tech was here no problems found. Again, because the appointment happened before the problem shows up.
I need a fix! Still NOT solved. A tenth of the speed is unacceptable.
Update: Back to normal at 10:54pm.

I am also experiencing this issue with the newest update from 8 channels to 16 channels. Most of the day I only get about 7 down. This is just unacceptable. More testing needs to be done before sending these updates out. I also noticed that channel 101 had 10000+ un-correctable errors on it. Granted that is more local to me than everyone else.
