Robocall Applications

I've seen the older posts, but none recently, but is Cox planning on making a robocall application available to their customers?  nomorobo.com is one of the top ones according to leading consumer magazines.  Lots of customers are getting spoofed by scammers pretending to be from utilities, government and even cable companies.  Vonage and other VoIP companies can use it.

There have been a ton of posts on this. Cox has no plans of making the service available. This is mostly because to do so they would need to change their phone system in a fundamental way. Pretty sure if something does change, the 100+ post thread on the issue will be updated.

Apparently Cox doesn't consider it's residential customers as important as it's business customers since they have simultaneous ring tone and can use Nomorobo. They don't even clue in it's own employees since it took 2 tech support responders before one had even heard of it previously, but still didn't know why or when Cox would seem fit to accommodate it's residential customers and work with Nomorobo to implement simultaneous ring.

It isn't a matter of them not caring or not wanting to offer the service. The way residential phone service works, the feature just isn't available. I am sure if Cox was able to offer a product so many people would buy, they would. No matter what, I think we can all agree Cox likes money. Not even all Cox Business customers can get simultaneous ring, only those using Cox Business "Voice Manager" system and the upgraded package, which is like a virtual PBX. I am all for people voicing their desires for the feature, but it is not just a matter of demand.
