For the past couple of months, I've been getting "Recording Errors" for many scheduled recordings. It doesn't happen with all recordings, but most of them. I also can't record a live show by using the Rec button, or pause a live show. I thought it was my DVR unit going bad, so I traded it in for a new unit. But the new unit is having the problem, too.

It's a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8240HDC. I guess it's a Passport because I do not have Contour. Some more information is that I had my old box for probably around 8 years at another house, and I never had any "Recording Errors". We've been in a new house now for about 9 months, and we've started seeing these errors with two different boxes.
I contacted phone support last night and it sent a reset to my DVR, which seems to have helped. But I'm just concerned the error will return, as it did when I got this new DVR.
