Record 6 installation preps

I'll be getting the Record 6 and 3 clients installed soon.  I prefer to do most of the in-wall cables myself prior to the installer arriving.  Do I need to run a single RG6 cable from each device to the point of entry, where the installer will install a splitter, or are additional splitters downstream OK?

I have some instances where TV's are close to each other, for instance my living room and kitchen TV's are on opposite sides of a wall.  Currently, there is a single coax run from the point of entry splitter to a 2-way splitter in the wall, then a short run to each cable box.  Is this topography OK with the Record 6 system?

Thanks, looking at figure T14484 (very much like my case), down stream splitters are fine.

Yeah, but be careful. WHDVR MoCa signals that are too weak will cause havoc with WHDVR installations. Use high quality, low insertion loss splitters. Bandwidth of at least 1GHz if not 1.5GHz.
