Problem recording A&E HD to DVR?

Is there a known problem with recording the A&E HD channel on DVR? I attempted twice to record a show tonight with my Cox Contour Record 6 DVR. It showed as usual for a scheduled recording, with a red circle and check mark. While the show was on, the red circle remained in the scheduling grid, but the show did not record, and the red light did not appear on the box. Other channels/networks seem to be working just fine. Thanks.

Hi Steven R,

I'm not seeing any known issues with recording A&E HD. Can you verify the series setting you have for this recording? Have you tried recording in SD to see what happens? If you look in the Missed Recording options, does it tell you what happened or why it didn't record?

Thanks Stephanie. I am not trying to record as part of a series, I just manually set the recording, and it doesn't work. In the Missed Recordings area it says, "Recording failed because we experienced some technical difficulties." (Not too specific!) I tried again just now with the HD A&E channel 1040 and again, it is not working. Yes, the SD A&E channel, 40, works fine. That doesn't really help me, though. I'm paying for the HD and the hi-capacity DVR so I want to be able to watch and record in hi-def.

Steven, I suggest unplugging all your receivers, waiting 2 minutes, and then plugging them back in starting with the host DVR.

That seemed to solve the problem, my recording on A&E worked today. Thanks for the assistance.
