I have noticed in the last few days there are some emails in my "sent" folder that I never created. When I open them there is not message, just a link...which of course I did not click on:) My cox email is a old one ive had since 2001 and no longer have a paid account, I just use the email no I dont seem to have the option to change my password. Any advice anyone?

I am confused, how do you sign into Cox e-mail to get your mail but don't have access to change your password? Is someone else paying for the account you are using? If so, can they change the password. If it is indeed been hacked, someone has the password and possibly have a compromised system. As you must know, the first thing to do when an account is compromised is to change the password or disable it to keep the hackers out.

I can log in but its an older account and we have since switched to Century LInk. If I try to change to password it keeps taking me to a blank page. Just talked to customer service and said the email account should have been deactivated months ago but wasnt for some reason. The rep I worked wtih said he was going to deactivate it but its still seems to be active, guess it takes some time.
