Pioneer VSX-84TSi HDMI 1080p passthrough Contour Box not talking

Hi,

My Receiver and Contour 2 Box net talking for 1080p.

I just got my Contour 2.  Everything (PS3, PS4, Contour 2, and Computer) runs through my Receiver (Pioneer VSX-84TSi).  When your tech was here we got an error message when trying to get 1080p from the Contour 2.  We verified that the 1080p works fine through the PS4 and we changed the HDMI cable from the Contour 2 box to the Receiver, but still received the same problem.  We connected to Contour 2 Box Directly to the TV and 1080p worked fine.

So we're guessing that the Contour 2 Box does not like talking to my Pioneer Receiver.  Any help?

This is the main TV in my home 65" we like to watch shows and sporting events on this TV; 1080p would be nice!
